This comprehensive IICRC ( Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification ) approved certification course covered : Rug construction and styles; rug inspection; rug identification; fibers and their characteristics; soil and cleaning theory ; chemistry of cleaning ; cleaning systems and methods ranging from minimum-moisture to total-immersion; fringe cleaning; color repair procedures and dye bleed correction; topical treatments ; spot removal theory and procedures ; crew procedure ; safety and maintenance;

To qualify for this advanced rug cleaning course, students must be IICRC certified, having successfully completed two advanced courses as pre-requisites and have experience in the fundamentals of carpet cleaning, fiber types and characteristics, fiber identification and testing, carpet construction and styles, mill dyeing, soil characteristics and the chemistry of cleaning. IICRC Carpet (CCT) and Upholstery (UCT) cleaning certifications are pre-requisites for this advanced rug cleaning course.
